Happy 2007!

A new beginning almost always embodies an element of anticipation. In a way, as I recall the panorama of events in 2006, it was off to a bad start. The lowest point was that of a failed relationship, and how I came to realise what I wanted in my life. Then there was the subsequent academic lag that I undergo semester after semester. I wanted to wave a white flag already, but since life was in the dumps, I was sure that it would take a turn for the better for it could not get any worse. Dramaturgical as it sounds, I met my Mr Leong, under the most impossible circumstances. Later, under the encouragement of my ever-loving boyfriend, my supportive friends and family, I somewhat sought a balance between school and work, and managed to do pretty well in both.

Thank you for entering my life. You guys made a difference, and that's from the bottom of my heart. =)

Last Saturday, my Mr Leong and I landed ourselves in the National Museum of Singapore for no apparent reason. It was rather fun lah..being the typical poor undergrads, we could only view exhibits that were FOC, but I'm quite certain that I would find myself in that place with you-know-who sometime soon, only this time we'll be gaining admission into all of the exhibits..-_-

That very same night we attended Yongqi's 21st birthday celebration at her house, and I think I see this clique of friends most frequently this holiday. No grumbles, for I really enjoy their superb company, and don't ask me how, but I know we'll be friends for life!

We had Seoul Garden on New Year's Eve! It was freaking expensive, since it was a Sunday coupled with the notion of a public holiday and all. Oh and we caught Curse of the Golden Flower, which allowed me some time spent with my idol, Mr Jay Chou! Apart from some teasing that accompanied the end of the show, it was all in all, a great end to 2006.

I hate to bid 2006 farewell, for many good things happened. I hate to tell myself 2007 will be an even better year, for I feel it's hard to imagine. Fortunately at the end of it all, memories remain, and I'm glad I grew and will continue to grow through these experiences mounted for me with each breath I take.
