Believe me, I am not estranged to the modules I am doing this semester. The series of introductory lectures were boring but good in a way, because there weren't any assigned readings and basically nothing to learn. Self-deception I know, but let me savour it for awhile, the dream will be shattered as of tomorrow. However, out of the seething cauldron of 5 modules, only the content of 2 appear interesting. Some of the professors were, needless to say, monotonous in their deliverance. I admit I tend to drift off rather easily, still, putting me to sleep during lecture is quite another matter, and yes, that has already happened.. -_-

My NUS clique held a belated 22nd birthday celebration for me at Munchie Monkey. I'm suddenly tempted with the idea to name my clique A Thorn Among the Roses. If you see this groupshot, you will understand why.=P

Here's Cecilia, Ryan, Tze Shia, Victoria, Winnie, Yiwen, Yixiu, and me!
I like my presents! Thank you!

The thorn is leaving for NOC in 2 days' time and some of the roses will be graduating soon. That day, we talked about a graduation trip to Taiwan, and Victoria laid out the itinenary in front of us with the help of a brochure. I looked on with dismal, for it's really sad we are all parting, I enjoy myself alot when I am with them, the only consolation is that I know we will all put in our share of effort to sustain our friendships.

By the way, at the start of this year, I had a very unpleasant dining experience at TCC. One of the waiters failed to give my group of friends priority seating over a couple, even though the only available seat was meant for large groups. He even persuaded us to share our seats with the couple. I filed my complaint with Mr Darrell Leong. He filed the complaint with [TCC Feedback / Suggestion] Contact us.

An excerpt of TCC's reply:
We are greatly disappointed that you were being inconvenienced during that visit, the manner that our service staff handled the situation was absolutely unacceptable, and totally unprofessional by our service standards!! @_@ I would personally feel insulted...as i would agree that you and your friends deserve the personal space of having the table to yourselves!

May we offer our utmost and sincere apologies for this shortfall in service. Please be assured that we will take measures to improve on this aspect.

And much as we are delighted to hear from invaluable guests like yourself, we regret that your dining experience could have been more pleasant in this instance.

As a humble gesture of our gratitude for your taking time in sharing with us your dining experience, please allow me to extend a tcc dollar $40.00 for your dining at tcc and certainly hope to invite you back once again.

Free $. =) Esther, Mingen, Shihui and Wanlin, I told you we don't deserve that kind of substandard treatment already!

At present, the only news that warrant a smile from me is that I am allocated my top 5 preferred tutorial slots. I think it's very interesting how people's moods are so readily affected by their Tutorial Allocation Results..

I want to be a clairvoyant leh.
